Project Life® 2024 Yearbook with Canva | Week 11

Weekend jaunts up the North Coast to Salt Rock, Ballito, prawn and chicken curry, stunning wall art, blue skies, sea views, tidal pools, my sister’s birthday… then three Networking functions KZN Women in Business, Umhlanga Women Achievers, and the RobinHood Foundation Mahala tea. I lost my voice in the most important week of the month and couldn’t do as many morning walks as I would have loved to, but hey, a good week nonetheless!

LET’S GET STARTED

WEEK 11 – PAGE 34

Project Life® 2024 Yearbook with Canva | Week 11

A pretty simple page – have had a busy week! I copied and pasted the top left-hand photo block updated the Ali Edwards text to Week 11 and changed dates. The beautiful mural from Surf Riders was a bit too bright, so I added a Shape|Rectangle changed it to black, and repositioned it to the back. I dropped the transparency to 77 percent it looks great. I added the rest of the photos and resized them to the bottom third of the page. I love panoramic photos that stretch from side to side – they print well in the photobooks. The last touch was to add the Element|Graphic|Gold Happy Birthday Banner.

WEEK 11 – 35

Project Life® 2024 Yearbook with Canva | Week 11

This page is dedicated to the two Networking groups I attend monthly – KZN Women in Business, and Umhlanga Women Achievers – the banner used celebrates the three top women in the Achiever Women of the Year competition – announced in November 2023. I was very fortunate to have come second, the winner was the talented Senta Seele, and in third position was Debbie Becker from Bernina Durban. I juggled the various photos I had and after filming my YouTube video I added a maroon background (copied from the banner) and white borders to the photos.
