As a friend of The A-List’s Alice Leah, I loved seeing her family photos of a trip to Europe last year, being shared again on her Facebook timeline. What I love about holiday photobooks, is that they can transport you back to the places you visited and the fun that was had. As time passes my memory fades, so I use my camera to photograph the little details like the restaurant signage, menu and food. I also keep the tickets, programmes, maps, brochures and postcards, I like to include them in my photobooks (they can be scanned or photographed). Some people write detailed journals, it is so easy to include text. Other times, I just include the date and place visited and sometimes no words at all.
